PROJECT OVERVIEW

At Trevor Day School, the team delivered a comprehensive modernization of the central condenser water and cooling infrastructure within a tight summer-break window. The project included furnishing and rigging two 300-ton SPX Marley fluid coolers, engineering and installing new 8-inch exterior condenser water risers over nine floors, and upgrading building pumps while converting the system to a 30% propylene glycol solution for improved reliability and freeze protection. New floor distribution ductwork and water-cooled AC units were installed on administrative levels, supported by field-assembled plate-and-frame heat exchangers that integrate the condenser water system with a geothermal heat recovery loop. All work was completed in just two months with zero disruption to school operations, demonstrating precise phasing, coordination, and execution in an active educational environment.
