Canopy by Hilton

NEW CONSTRUCTION

Canopy by Hilton showcases a full MEP build for a new 34-story hotel with two sub-cellar amenity and restaurant levels, coordinated through 3D modeling to thread systems cleanly through a tight urban tower. The project centers on a 495-ton York air source heat pump plant feeding six central DOAS units with energy recovery, nearly 400 four-pipe fan coils, primary/secondary hot and chilled water pumping, and multiple plate-and-frame heat exchangers to support domestic and heating loads. High-end guestroom and public-area finishes are backed by carefully integrated specialty systems, including a cellar restaurant kitchen with electrostatic grease and odor control, welded exhaust duct rising to an upper MER, and roof-mounted equipment rigged via derrick to work within New York City’s logistic and site constraints.
